Terms and Conditions

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Lerin. The service is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not access or use the service, create an account, submit face scans, ask product questions, or provide skin profile or routine information.

Lerin provides skincare education, guided face-scan capture, scan-quality checks, visible skin-signal explanations, AI-assisted routine suggestions, progress history, and product-question answers based on your routine and skin profile.

The service is for personal skincare habit support. It does not replace professional judgment, ingredient labels, product warnings, patch testing, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Lerin is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, disease detection, disease prevention, or emergency support. Skin scores, scan observations, AI answers, routines, product suggestions, and progress indicators are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, prescription treatments, severe acne, infections, burns, wounds, suspicious lesions, allergic reactions, pregnancy-related product questions, persistent symptoms, or any urgent concern. Stop using any product that causes irritation and seek professional advice where appropriate.

The service is intended as a consumer skincare and wellness tool. Do not use it as a substitute for professional medical judgment. If future features are intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent disease, or otherwise meet the definition of regulated medical-device software, additional regulatory review may be required before release.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for keeping account credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

We may require verification before changing account details, exporting data, deleting data, restoring access, or responding to sensitive support requests.

Features involving face scans, skin observations, images, or other sensitive information are governed by our Privacy Policy. You must not upload, scan, or process another person's face, image, skin information, or sensitive information unless you have their consent and legal authority to do so.

AI-assisted outputs may be affected by lighting, camera quality, skin tone, image angle, product data, ingredient lists, your profile, your routine history, and model limitations. Product answers are personalized to available context but are not guaranteed to be safe, complete, current, or suitable for your skin.

Always read product labels, ingredient lists, warnings, directions, expiration dates, and manufacturer instructions. Patch test when appropriate. Product examples and ingredient notes are not brand endorsements unless clearly stated.

Skincare outcomes vary by skin type, sensitivity, allergies, hormones, environment, medications, routines, product formulas, and many other factors. We do not guarantee clearer skin, fewer breakouts, reduced redness, improved texture, or any specific result.

Some features may require an account, subscription, trial, or App Store purchase. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation instructions, trial terms, refund rules, and taxes shown by Apple or another payment provider at checkout control the purchase.

You are responsible for managing subscriptions through the applicable app store account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your account may not cancel an active subscription. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple unless we state otherwise.

Free trials may convert into paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscription access may be limited, paused, or revoked if payment fails, a transaction is reversed, or the purchase is suspected to be fraudulent.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for lawful personal skincare purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

You retain ownership of images, scans, messages, notes, product details, and information you submit. You grant Tarik Fatih PINARCI a limited license to host, process, analyze, display, transmit, and use that content to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or another person's rights.

If you send ideas, suggestions, feature requests, bug reports, or other feedback, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of your personal scan images, routine notes, or account data.

You may not:

• Use the service for medical emergencies or safety-critical decisions.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, private, or malicious content.
• Scan, upload, or process another person's face or sensitive information without permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, copy, overload, interfere with, or attempt to access non-public parts of the service.
• Use the service to build competing products, datasets, AI models, biometric systems, or identification tools without permission.
• Misrepresent AI outputs as medical advice, clinical conclusions, professional diagnosis, or guaranteed results.
• Violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, consumer protection, or legal rights.
• Use the service in countries, regions, or situations where doing so would violate sanctions, export controls, or other applicable laws.

We may review, remove, restrict, or refuse content, scans, prompts, product questions, or account activity that appears to violate these Terms, create risk, infringe rights, or misuse the service. We may also limit AI responses when a request asks for medical diagnosis, unsafe product use, self-harm guidance, or another restricted use.

The service, software, interface, design system, generated layouts, text, graphics, brand assets, trademarks, and content are owned by Tarik Fatih PINARCI or its licensors. These Terms do not grant rights to use our brand or intellectual property except as needed to use the service.

If you believe content available through the service infringes your copyright, contact support@lerin.app with your name, contact information, a description of the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.

The service may rely on third-party providers, including app stores, payment processors, analytics, hosting, database, crash reporting, customer support, and AI infrastructure providers. Third-party terms and policies may apply, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information, including face scans, skin observations, AI chat messages, routine history, and device information. By using the service, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update, test, limit, suspend, remove, or discontinue features at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, used the service unlawfully, or caused harm to the service or other users.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, app store outages, hosting failures, labor disputes, security incidents, natural disasters, war, government action, or changes to third-party services.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, medically accurate, clinically validated, or suitable for your skin, allergies, products, medications, routines, or circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tarik Fatih PINARCI and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunities, or personal routines.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tarik Fatih PINARCIfrom claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of another person's rights.

These Terms will be governed by the laws identified by Tarik Fatih PINARCIin the final operating setup, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection laws require otherwise. Venue, arbitration, class action waiver, and small-claims language should be finalized based on the legal entity's jurisdiction and counsel review before launch.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@lerin.app and give both sides a reasonable chance to resolve the dispute informally, unless applicable law says otherwise.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's applicable terms may also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing support or maintenance for the service unless required by applicable law or Apple's own terms.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or business operations. The updated date above shows when the Terms last changed. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
